Continuous Data
Data are said to be continuous if there are values between any two plausible values.
Example 1
Blood pressure (in mmHg) is continuous if it is precisely measured. It may go up to many decimal places.
Example 2
Bone mineral density (BMD) test measures the mineral density, such as calcium, in bones. Today's technology makes it possible to be precisely measured and can be considered continuous.
